A knock down got in the way: Marcus Ehning finished eighth with his 12-year old mare Cristy (Canturo x Landlord) in the competition for the Banorte Trophy of the Longines Global Champions Tour in Mexico. Victory in this competition, which was sponsored by one of Mexico’s largest banks, went to Pieter Devos on Apart (Latino x Burggraf) followed by Lorenzo de Luca on Limestone Grey.

The Mazda Trophy, the final show jumping competition in Mexico, was won by Wilhelm Genn with Bugatti (Heartbreaker x  Pilot) who has been living in the USA for a long time now but still competes for Germany. Second was Mexican Alfredo Ramirez Piedra on 14-year old Zangersheider gelding Red Gold.
