KWPN, Oldenburger and Westfalias lead in the breeding-ranking list of sport horses

The World Breeding Federation (WBFSH) has completed it’s new Rolex world-ranking list: Placed first with a clear lead is the 14-year old KWPN Gelding Zinius (Nabab de Reve x Kannan) breeding stable W.M.A. Everse in Waddinxveen. With rider Harrie Smolders they collected 1105 points in the Championships around the world from 1/10/2017 to 31/3/2018. He steps into the place of Belgian Warmblood Halifax van het Kluizebos now ranking 212th.

Second in the current ranking list is the 15-year old Westfalia Stallion Cornado NRW ( Cornet Obolensky x Acobat) from breeder Antonius Schulze-Averdiek, with rider Marcus Ehning, and back to his old form, they collected 810 points. Places 3 and 4 were taken by the most successful Oldenburger horses both from the Schockemoehle stud farm Lewitz: The 11-year old Gelding Chacanno (Chacco-Blue x Kannan) changed at the beginning of the year from training at Henrik von Eckermann to Paul Schockemoehles assistent instructor Patrick Stuehlmeyer. Placed 4th the 14-year old Stallion Royce (Cafe au Lait x Grandilot) who on 31st March won the Grand Prix in Wellington with rider Margie Goldstein-Engle.

With the outstanding Zinius the Breeding Association KWPN collected 4147 points with it’s six best jumping horses. Breeding Association Oldenburg International is close behind and with 4012 points placed second in front of Westfalia Pferdestammbuch with 3733 points in third place. Past leaders, BPW horses, amongst them Gancia de Muze and Inca Boy, with 3585 points in fourth place in front of Stud Book du Cheval Selle Francais. Ranking six are the Holsteiner with 3200 points, mainly thanks to sire Casall.
