Only Grand Prix genes at Flanders Embryo Auction on 4 December

posted in: Allgemein | 0

Only a few months to go before the first foals will be born that are going to be sold on Saturday-night 4 December. Flanders Embryo Auction will one more time this year offer an impressive collection of 24 unborn jumping foals.

“We will hold the auction during the international show at Sentower Park in Opglabbeek, Belgium, and we can promise that it will be a cozy and interesting evening, with room for about two hundred guests”, say Gerald Lenaerts and Luk Van Puymbroeck.

Auctioneer Louis De Cleene is accompanied by guest-speaker Dirk Willem Rosie, editor in chief of De Paardenkrant & Horses.nl, author and owner of Horsetelex.

Our of Grand Prix mares

If you want to make a good deal in the field of breeding and the sport, you should not miss this auction. As many as four unborn foals are out of 1.60m Grand Prix mares, one out of a 1.55m level mare and two out of 1.50m level mares. Six embryos are from dams that already supplied 1.60m Grand Prix horses. This collection is drenched in top-sport genes.

For sale are a full brother or sister of H&M All In and Carrera VDL, a Chacco Blue out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Babylotte, an Emerald out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Funky Music, a Kashmir Van Schuttershof out of the half-sister of Hickstead and a Diamant de Semilly out of the half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Blue Movie that already earned 1.2 million euro in the showjumping ring.

From the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Imagine de Muze, last weekend under James Wilson winner the 1.50m Grand Prix in Vilamoura, a grandchild by Perigueux will be sold. And how about a Comme il Faut out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Geena (1.55m), with behind her Babbe van ’t Roosakker (1.60m) and Usha van ’t Roosakker (1.50m)? Everyone knows the European championship sensation Levis de Muze; out of his half-sister Kirby de Muze (1.50m level under Marit Haar Skollerud) a Chacco Blue is on offer. Levis’ and Kirby’s dam Heroine de Muze (1.60m GP) was recently sold to Levis’ rider Loli Mytilineou.

Also interesting are a Catoki out of the half-sister of Catch Me If You Can, a Comme il Faut out of the full sister to Emerald, a Balou du Reventon out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Ciske van Overis and a Heartbreaker out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Chapeau 10 from Kathrin Stolmeijer. The list with impressive pedigrees continues…
