The 80th edition of Youhorse.auction began on Tuesday, October 6, attracted international interest and offered numerous opportunities for buyers looking for quality at competitive prices. The highest price of the opening evening was achieved by Mr Cochac PS (Messenger x Conthargos), which was sold for 45,000 \u20ac to a buyer from Canada. Tonight, on Wednesday, October 7, the exciting finale follows when the second part of the collection goes up for auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seven-year-old Mr Cochac PS is now preparing for a long journey overseas. Buyers from all over the world were active throughout the entire auction, with horses being sold to Japan and Egypt, among other places. Alone on the first evening, horses changed owners and went to buyers from no fewer than 17 different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The auction also sparked the interest of some of the biggest names in sports, including a former Olympic rider and winner of the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen who added one of the auction horses to his stable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Youhorse talents take center stage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to the more experienced horses, there was great interest in promising young talents. Buria Waldstar (Bamako de Muze x Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) remains in the Netherlands. The four-year-old mare also has an interesting sporting pedigree: Her mother Fleur de l\u2019Aube competed at the 1.60-metre level under Jessica Springsteen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The three-year-old Choco Lover Z (Chaccotage Blue PS x Messenger) found a new owner in Slovakia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201eWe saw several young horses tonight, of which I am sure we will see them again in future at pony championships,\u201c says Mario Everse. \u201eLast month no fewer than twelve horses that started at the World Championships in Lanaken were previously sold on Youhorse.auction.
