At the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses 2022, five-, six-, and seven-year-old horses compete for the world championship titles. Winning counts more than once, because the podium offers the winners not only a prize for breeders and riders but also the distinction of a world championship title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program also includes the FEI Sires of the World competition, the exclusive jumping at 1.50 m level for older stallions, and a Quality Auction where young horses with the best pedigrees will be auctioned on Thursday and selected top foals on Friday and Saturday. This marks the culmination of a busy foal auction season at Zangersheide. In 2021, an average revenue of \u20ac43,000 was achieved. An absolute record!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christian Ahlmann, life partner of Judy Ann Melchior and successful rider of the superstar from Zangersheide, Dominator 2000 Z, will arrive with his team of young horses aged five to seven years and experienced stallions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among them are the world champion five-year-old show jumping horses from last year, Querido VG Z, Otterongo Alpha Z, or Dourkhan Hero Z. \u201eThis tournament is a highlight for our horses. Even though not all of those we have are contenders for a world title, there is now, towards the end of the year, a proper test for us, and we will see where we stand with our horses,\u201c says Christian Ahlmann. \u201eIf the stallions give us the impression that they are ready for this task after a long season and despite only a few competitions, then we would be happy to present them to our breeders.\u201c His decision on who is allowed to participate is not easy: \u201eThe tasks are extremely demanding. Nevertheless, we will try to deliver a very good performance.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n
