The show jumping event was suspended for around 20 minutes.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now his rider, Ben Maher, has spoken out: \u201eUnfortunately, Explosion sustained a soft-tissue injury on the show jumping course at La Baule. He is now back with us at home in the stables and is doing well so far.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ben Maher has expressed his gratitude for the swift and professional assistance provided on site and for the many messages regarding Explosion: \u201eI\u2019ll keep you updated on how Explosion\u2019s recovery is progressing.\u201c&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 14-year-old chestnut gelding had won a gold medal in the individual event at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games, with Ben Maher in the saddle.
