The six-year-old mare Andiamo Fee Z (Andiamo Semilly x I’m Special de Muze) was secured by buyers from Jordan after an intense international bidding duel. The more experienced horses were also in high demand, reaching prices above €30,000. The fourteen-year-old Calsit du Bouscaillou (Cassini II x Ogano Sitte) will move to Poland, while the nine-year-old Cool Air (Cayetano L x Air Dancer) continues his career in Turkey.
In addition, the eight-year-old Crime is Silver Chapeau’s Flye High (Chapeau Ciaco x Ciaco’s Son S) impressed buyers from the United States, while the five-year-old Amadeo VD Z (Amadeo van ’t Vossenhof Z x Corydon van T&L) was purchased by a buyer from Belgium.
International interest in full bloom
“We’ve seen a fantastic start to the Easter auction,” said organizer Mario Everse. “With buyers from no fewer than 20 different countries and a remarkable number of new bidders, this edition once again demonstrates how international our platform has become. Only one horse remained in the Netherlands, underlining the country’s strong position as an export nation in the horse trade.”
Germany currently leads with six purchases, followed by Poland, the Czech Republic and Italy with three horses each. Notably, a buyer from Mexico invested in three frozen embryos, all bred from Grand Prix mares.
Grand Easter finale today
Excitement is building towards the conclusion of this Easter Edition. Tonight, Wednesday, April 8, the second part of the collection will go under the hammer. “The first evening was a strong prelude, but experience shows that the real spectacle unfolds at the very last moment,” Mario Everse added. “Anyone looking for a new top talent should not miss this Easter finale.”
“The collection for today is once again highly diverse: from very promising young talents to quality amateur horses and even a 1.50m level showjumping horse. The horses can still be viewed until this evening and our team is ready to answer any questions,” he emphasized.
