The 62nd edition of Youhorse.auction ended on a spectacular note Tuesday, June 3. The yearling colt Chacolino, a half-brother of Olympic stallion Uricas vd Kattevennen, was sold for an impressive €34,000. This marks a first in this online auction’s history: never before has a yearling achieved the top sale price.

Bidders from the Netherlands, Germany, and France competed fiercely for the Chacco Blue son, but it was an American buyer who ultimately placed the winning bid. Mario Everse watched the bidding war unfold with excitement: “Incredible! Every edition brings its own excitement and it’s fantastic that the auction keeps surprising us. Chacolino was a special addition to the collection, so expectations were high. It shows that exceptional bloodlines tend to draw that little bit extra.”

The auction once again proved a global success, attracting bidders and buyers from all corners of the world. The six-year-old mare Odyssee (Jacquet-Go x Al Capone) was sold to Switzerland for €20,000, while the three-year-old stallion Enrico-Star vh Beeckhof Z (Ermitage Kalone x Glenfiddich VDL) is headed to Jordan for €17,000.

Five more horses reached the €17,000 mark. The five-year-old gelding EH Victorious Z (Emerald van ’t Ruytershof x Vigo d’Arsouilles) was sold to Poland. Both the five-year-old gelding Atendro (Asterix de Couleur x Contendro II) and the seven-year-old mare Katrin Wan (Kaloyan x Wellington) found new homes in the United Kingdom.

The six-year-old mare Olivia (Jacquet-Go x Concorde) will continue her career in France. The five-year-old Unaniem(No-Comment de Septon x Chacco-Blue) is moving to Kyrgyzstan, while the four-year-old gelding Ranni Louise(Mindset ES x High Shutterfly) will be based in Germany.
