Friendship Tour: A week full of highlights for international young stars

It all begins with an exclusive day at the world-famous CHIO Aachen: Participants in the Friendship Tour will get a behind-the-scenes look at the world’s largest equestrian show and have the opportunity to experience a course walk before the Rolex Grand Prix in the legendary Main Stadium. The real work for the young riders on the Friendship Tour then begins on Monday, when the training week starts with Lars Meyer zu Bexten at Bexter Hof.

‘We want to bring young riders from all over the world together and offer them an unforgettable week where they can not only develop as riders, but also expand their international network,’ says the renowned and successful show jumping trainer. The target group ranges from pony riders and children to juniors and young riders to U25 riders from Germany and around the world.

The programme, which runs from 6 to 13 July and is presented by the Bexter Hof Open and the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS, is based on a holistic approach. The central component is an intensive week of training with Lars Meyer zu Bexten and Heinrich Hermann Engemann, former national coach for seniors. But it also includes workshops on topics such as mental training, fitness, horse welfare and season planning. ‘This is the only way for participants to make it to the top, because it takes much more than just good riding,’ Lars Meyer zu Bexten is convinced.

To prove their quality, the participants will compete in one of the Bexter Hof Open Tours at the end of the week. The Friendship Tour thus combines the World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen 2025, with holistic training and international tournament flair – countless memories guaranteed.
