“What a fantastic way to end two nail-biting auction days,” said Mario Everse, organizer of Youhorse.auction. “This summer edition was a great success. The collection was incredibly diverse: in addition to sport horses, we also auctioned foals, ponies, embryos and broodmares. This was reflected in the sales results. We sold to a broad, international audience. The sport horses achieved good prices and buyers took full advantage of the opportunity to acquire young talent at attractive prices. We expect these horses to make a big impression in the future.”
UAE steps up
The undisputed star of the evening was the nine-year-old gelding Calidoss (Calido I x Colman), who was sold for €55,000 to buyers from the United Arab Emirates. The four-year-old Remember Me STA (Luigi d’Eclipse x Diamant de Semilly) also stood out and will head to the UAE for €28,000.
Raylano, a four-year-old by Classico TN x Caretino, was sold for €22,000 to a buyer in South Africa. The three-year-old stallion Enrico-Star vh Beeckhof (Ermitage Kalone x Glenfiddich VDL) found a new owner in Slovenia for €18,000, while the six-year-old mare Olivia (Jacquet-Go x Concorde) received a winning bid of €17,000 from the United States.
Once again, the summer auction highlighted the international appeal of Youhorse.auction. Spain led the way with twelve purchases, followed by Germany with nine, and Belgium and France with six each. Horses also found new homes in Brazil, Canada, Israel, and beyond.
