Italy takes the lead
Italy turned out to be the big winner on Tuesday, securing no fewer than eight purchases. Among the new Italian additions is the four-year-old gelding Chicago (Charthago Blue x Vaillant). France followed with six purchases, while buyers from Great-Britain, the United States and Belgium each acquired five horses. The five-year-olds Chacco Ro Z (Chacco Top x Cicero Z) and Plisé (Interadel BH x L’Arc de Triomphe) are heading to England, while Kenji SK, a son of Kannan Jr, will make his way to Canada. Papillon van Lange Weeren (Jenssen VDL x Douglas) will also cross the Atlantic to the United States. Belgium welcomes, among others, the mare Velina JW van ’t Meulenhof (Don VHP Z x Vigo d’Arsouilles).
Final promises fireworks
