Youhorse.auction closes New Year’s auction with €60,000 for Amazing A.S.

While the Netherlands was covered in a wintry blanket of snow, Youhorse.auction provided a warm and festive conclusion to its New Year’s auction. Champagne flowed freely one last time during the second auction day on Wednesday 7 January, which was crowned by the AES-approved stallion Amazing A.S. The five-year-old son of Andiamo Z achieved a top price of €60,000.

Amazing A.S. had already lived up to his name with an AES breeding license and once again confirmed his qualities on Wednesday evening. The talented and very rideable stallion will be moving to Dubai.

The six-year-olds Elka Z (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Le Tot de Semilly) and Cold as Ice Z (Cornado I x Coronino) were also among the absolute highlights of the auction. Elka Z was sold to the Middle East, while Cold as Ice Z will continue his career in the United States.

International snowball of sales
The first Youhorse collection of 2026 rolled across the globe like a snowball. Horses were sold to 25 different countries. The United States took the lead on the very first evening and did not relinquish that top position, with a total of twelve purchases. Spain followed with seven purchases, while the Netherlands and Germany placed the winning bid six and five times respectively. Buyers from the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia and Romania also secured multiple horses. In addition, horses found their way to destinations including Morocco and South Africa.

On to the Valentine’s Auction
The next edition is scheduled for Tuesday 3 February: the Valentine’s Auction. “Our Valentine’s collection is guaranteed to make hearts beat faster,” promises Mario Everse.

“The video and selection days on 12 and 13 January for this auction are already fully booked, but for a very interesting horse we may still be able to make room. On Monday, the young talents will be jump loose and on Tuesday the ridden horses will be presented under saddle.”

The auction calendar for the rest of the year is now online, so be sure to mark the dates in your agenda. Anyone wishing to sell an eye-catching sport horse can register via www.youhorse.auction.
