Youhorse.auction opens Early Spring Auction with €90,000 highlight, final tonight

The first evening of the Early Spring Auction at Youhorse.auction on Tuesday, March 3, immediately brought a touch of spring excitement. With a strong collection and international interest, the auction got off to a flying start. Seven-year-old D’Jambo Prova Z was crowned the absolute highlight of the evening with a top price of €90,000. Tonight, the second and final auction round is scheduled..

The seven-year-old D’Jambo Prova Z (Dynamite vt Hazelarenhoekje x Vivaldi du Seigneur) attracted significant attention from the outset. After an intense bidding battle, buyers from Spain secured the winning bid at €90,000.

At present, the team from Stal Everse / Youhorse.auction is competing at the Sunshine Tour in Spain, where many former Youhorse horses are achieving strong results. Organizer Mario Everse explains: “It’s wonderful to meet so many satisfied Youhorse.auction clients here. Horses previously sold through the auction are delivering excellent performances, which is of course the best possible advertisement.”

Other horses also impressed. The six-year-old gelding Crime is Silver (Crime is Colin x Cento) will move to the United States, while the four-year-old Sonato (Interadel BH x Stakkato) will continue his career in Poland.

Olympic rider
Interest was not limited to experienced sport horses, as the younger generation also drew strong attention. The colt Dalton (Don’t Touch Tiji Hero x Cardento), born in 2025, was secured by an Olympic showjumper from Ireland, who set his sights on the promising young talent.

European buyers in the lead
Many of the horses were purchased by clients who have successfully invested through Youhorse.auction before, underlining continued confidence in the auction. At the same time, numerous new bidders were welcomed. Germany and the Czech Republic currently lead the rankings with five purchases each, followed by the United States and Slovakia with four horses apiece. While European buyers dominated overall, horses also found their way to destinations including Mexico and Egypt.

Spring finale tonight
Excitement is building toward the final of the Early Spring Auction. Tonight, Wednesday, March 4, the second part of the collection will go under the hammer. According to Mario Everse, another thrilling evening is in store: “The first round was a very promising start. Bidding is already lively, but experience shows that the real battle often unfolds in the final minutes. Tonight’s collection is once again very diverse: from talented sport horses to an interesting broodmare and even an embryo. Horses with extensive competition experience are attracting strong interest, but young talents are also eager to be discovered. Anyone still looking for a new top prospect should definitely tune in tonight.”
