Easter Finale Youhorse.auction peaks at €98,000 for L’Alize Z

After a strong opening night on Tuesday, the Easter Edition of Youhorse.auction continued impressively on Wednesday, April 8. While the auction had already gotten off to a great start, the final saw a significant step up. The twelve-year-old L’Alize Z became the absolute highlight of the evening, selling for €98,000 to buyers from the United States.

The L’Arc de Triomphe daughter, with experience at 1.50m level, had already been regarded as one of the most sought-after horses in the collection and fully lived up to expectations. The younger generation also made a strong impression. The four-year-old mare Snapchat (Pegase van ’t Ruytershof x Lancelot) matched Tuesday’s top price, selling for €50,000 to buyers from Switzerland.

Several other horses also stood out. The five-year-old Roelie (Hardrock Z x Carrera VDL) will move to the United States, while the six-year-old Carlo 578 (Caytes x Qaid I) will remain in the Netherlands.

International Easter Auction with global reach

Organizer Mario Everse looks back with satisfaction on two successful auction evenings:
“We’ve had a fantastic Easter edition, with strong highlights and a broad international group of buyers. In total, the horses were sold to 25 different countries. It remains special to see how our network continues to expand worldwide and how buyers are increasingly finding their way to our platform.”

Additional auction in April

The growing international reach of Youhorse.auction has not gone unnoticed among sellers either, resulting in a special collaboration. “This weekend, we’re adding something extra to our calendar,” says Mario Everse. “We’ve been approached to auction an entire collection from a single breeder. A unique opportunity to offer a large group of quality horses at once. From April 18 to 21, we will auction around 40 horses. Such a collaboration highlights the trust that has developed in our platform and we are extremely proud of that.”

Selection days

Meanwhile, the Youhorse.auction team is already looking ahead to the next regular auction on Tuesday, May 5. Preparations are in full swing, with video and selection days scheduled for Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14.

“In May, we will once again present a strong and diverse collection of showjumping talents,” adds Mario Everse. “Sellers who wish to present their horse to an international audience can still register via www.youhorse.auction.”
