It started in the first world-wide Covid-19 lockdown and it’s celebrating the 25th edition this weekend: the Dutch Youhorse.auction, organized by Mario Everse and Alan Waldman. Hundreds of sport horses, youngsters, foals and broodmares have been sold to places all over the world and many will follow.
“When the client can not come to us, we will come to the client, in a manner of speaking”, Mario Everse explained in April 2020. Well, that worked. And buying horses in online auctions is very common now.
The anniversary edition is very divers.
Youhorse.auction has selected:
- Youngsters
- Jumping horses under the saddle
- An approved stallion
- Broodmares
- Foals
- Embryos
- And… for the first time a very special dressage-bred broodmare
“Horse owners have really offered quality, but we have also selected very good jumping foals and broodmares from our own performance breeding. In short, it is a special collection from which we can all expect a lot. Tip: check the offspring out of the famous damlines as Schuttershof and Qerly Chin (de Muze)”
The online auction is from Saturday 30 July to Tuesday 2 August.
