As per tradition, Elite Foal Auction Borculo auctions a formidable collection in August. Even before the collection was published online, there was already abundant interest in the Borculo foals. Today, the organisation launches the collection that is composed of 75 jumper and dressage foals. Check out the entire collection here.
New duo adopts strict selection policy
Foals with a compelling pedigree, a strong movement mechanism and alluring looks; the jumper collection is definitely ‘Borculo-worthy’. This year, a new duo hit the road to find the finest foals. The seasoned Henk van de Broek is responsible for the collection jumper foals together with breeding enthusiast Jos Swinkels. They were able to secure the much-wanted Creatyon van HH. A colt out of Maikel van der Vleuten’s 1.50m mare Dywiss van HH. Plus, there are more offspring of mares that proved their capacities in sport or at tests. The dam of Sominka (s.Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof) for example obtained 90 points for reflexes.
Dutch soil
For many years, Foal Auction Borculo has ranked among the most esteemed foal auctions in the Netherlands. Borculo-foals find their way to the (top level) sport across the globe. Only a few stallions sire multiple foals in the collection, a strong damline in which sport performance is deeply embedded, prevails.
