On March 15, 2024, the second World Sport Horse Sales edition will take place at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida. After a very successful first edition of the auction last year, the teams of Redfield Farm, Stal Hendrix and Andre Thieme have sourced a varied collection of excellent showjumpers, hunters and equitation horses. especially suited to the American circuit.

“After the premiere edition last year we are excited to match or even top the success of our auction”, Paul Hendrix tells us. “As a team we’ve been able to bring together a fantastic collection of horses. It is firstly a group of very talented and high-quality horses, secondly it is remarkable that this collection contains a variety of showjumpers, hunters and equitation horses, suitable for every rider from junior amateurs to professionals.”

The quality of the horses is key
“The horses are all in different stages of their careers. They vary from 6 to 9-year-olds and most of them have already earned their strides at international level. Next to top-quality jumpers also the hunters and equitation horses are quite exceptional. These horses are being trained by the best in the business and are well on their way to measure themselves with their peers at the top level of the sport.”

“This collection in combination with the beautiful location of the WEC will surely provide a great auction night and create new potential top matches of horses and riders for the future.” All the horses of the 2024 collection have their own special mix of talents. Some of the most remarkable are for example nine-year-old Bacardi (Corland x Kannan) who descends from a long line of top jumpers on both sides of his pedigree and has a magnificent work ethic and stellar attitude.

Top matches for the future
Next E Tanagra (Cape Coral RBF Z x Warrant) is one of the most complete horses of the group. With her exceptional movements and way of jumping she is a very special 6yo hunter prospect. Seven-year-old Monalisa (Glenfiddich VDL x Wittinger VDL) has already turned heads as a youngster, jumping a top clear round in the Dublin Young Horse finals last year. This mare promises to have all the qualities for a professional top sport career.
