Enzo de Coquerie sets the tone at €55,000 in first part of May Youhorse.auction

The May Auction of Youhorse.auction got off to a strong start on Tuesday, May 5, with a collection full of sport and experience. The first auction round immediately sent a clear signal: quality sells. Tonight, Wednesday, May 6, marks the finale of this edition, in which the second part of the collection will once again deliver excitement.

The highest price of the evening was achieved by the twelve-year-old Enzo de Coquerie (Malito de Reve x Helios de la Cour II). This gelding, experienced at 1.55m level, convinced international buyers and will move to the United States. Bidding was also competitive for the other horses. The nine-year-old Agacetto (Aganix du Seigneur x Concetto I) will continue his 1.40m career in Brazil, while Italian buyers secured the 1.45m level mare Madame VG (Zirocco Blue VDL x Padinus). Horses were sold to 23 different countries.

From experienced winners to future talents
Organizer Mario Everse looks back with satisfaction on the opening evening: “We were able to put together a collection with a remarkable number of sport horses. Each and every one of these horses allows new owners to move forward immediately. The first evening was a strong prelude, but the best is yet to come. The second part once again features many showjumping horses with extensive show experience. From international horses with the potential to progress further, to schoolmasters, and of course young talent to develop yourself. That mix is exactly what makes this auction so interesting.”

Finale tonight: everything still to play for
The excitement is building toward tonight’s finale. “Bidding is already in full swing, but from experience we know the real fireworks only start in the final minutes,” says Mario Everse.

“The prices are attractive and there are still plenty of opportunities. Anyone looking for a horse with both quality and potential would do well to take a look tonight. This is one of those evenings where everything comes together,” he emphasizes.
