This year’s collection ranges from promising five-year-olds to more experienced eight-year-olds that are already further along in their careers. Among the three five-year-olds is Roosminka (by Aganix du Seigneur x Dominator Z), who already made her mark last year by earning the silver medal at the Dutch Championship for four-year-olds.
A fine mix of talent
“We are very pleased with the collection we’ve selected this year,” says Paul Hendrix. “With the five-year-olds, we have three very interesting horses that already show a great deal of potential. At the same time, the larger group of six-year-olds includes horses that have already stood out in multiple competitions and have international experience.”
Top-level propects
Among the six-year-olds there is eye-catcher Pinehurst (by Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof ), a HX-homebred talent whose dam competed at the highest level. And Prins-L (by Kardinaal HX) is another striking prospect, showing all the qualities required for the bigger sport. One year their senior is seven-year-old Eagle Eye Cherry vd Wiel Z, a high-quality gelding, also by Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof, that has already made a great impresssion in the youngster-classes at JPM International in Kessel.
Increasing demand for developed talents
The collection also includes two eight-year-olds, responding to the increasing demand for horses that are further advanced in their careers. Tabea (by Toulon) combines the potential to progress towards the highest level with great looks and excellent rideability suited to both professionals and high-amateurs.
With exceptional talent, strong pedigrees and a fine mix of horses, the 2026 collection continues the Dutch Sport Horse Sales tradition of selecting promising partners for the international sport.
