Tom Schewe shines with new addition in Morocco: As early as August, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann was sitting on the saddle of the Katrien, a daughter of Verdi, and placed the eleven-year-old KWPN mare at the CSI4* in Sentower Park. Now Tom Schewe has taken over the reins of the talented mare, who also caused a stir with Mathies Rüder, among others, in Hagen. In Tetouan, the first stage of the Marocco Royal Tour, the two had their first joint appearances. In the main CSI5* event of the day late Thursday evening in El Jadida over 1.45m and two phases, Tom Schewe and Katrien were able to immediately secure a strong third place.
The victory went to Abdullah Alsharbatly with Atome des Etisses (v. Mylord Carthago) ahead of the Belgian Mike van Olst on Comme Elle Faut Odth Z (v. Comme il Faut).
Gut platzieren konnten sich auch Harm Lahde und GSI Sir Dominator (v. Dominator 2000 Z) auf Rang sieben.
