After a long injury break, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann has rebuilt him very carefully this year – with success: Now the 14-year-old Grand Prix winner Messi Van’T Ruytershof (v. Plot Blue) has impressively returned to the upper realms at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva. Together they set a flawless round in the Grand Prix, a world ranking jumping competition over 1.50m. In the final round of only eight qualifiers, they then recorded the second fastest time, but unfortunately also a jumping error. As a result, they finished fifth.
The victory went to the Portuguese António Matos Almeida with Old Boy SJ (v. Upercut Kervec) ahead of the Spaniard Mariano Martinez Bastida with Bacardi O (v. Bellini Royal).
