In the winter of 2025/26 they already beat the competition at 5-star level in Doha and Riyadh; on this Saturday they secured the Grand Prix of Riesenbeck in the final: Christopher Kläsener and Popeye vd Bisschop (v. Lector vd Bisschop) came in with a double zero in the CSI2* 1.45m final, thus overtaking Josch Löhden and EIC Schabernack (v. Cornet Obolensky) by almost a second.
In third place, Lars Vollmer rode Cornwell (v. Cornet Obolensky) ahead of Brianne Beerbaum with Zenzero (v. Zuccero H), who was born nine years ago at the hands of Holsteins breeder legend Harm Thormählen. Also with a double zero, Janne Friederieke Meyer-Zimmermann rode fifth with Cornela, who was born at her father's farm.
Jana Wargers also qualified with her old success partner Dorette OLD (v. Dollar du Murier) with a flawless round for the jump, but she did not take part there.
