“Once again, a fantastic result,” said a proud Mario Everse on behalf of the Youhorse team. “For this collection, we managed to secure a wonderful selection of recently started horses and that clearly paid off. The quality was high and buyers were enthusiastic, resulting in excellent prices and a strong sales percentage. That’s great news not only for the buyers, but especially for the consignors. They bring their horses to Stal Everse for the video and selection days and see their efforts rewarded with successful sales. Thanks to that trust and success, breeders and riders keep coming back with new horses, allowing us to secure the best ones for future auctions.”
Among the absolute highlights of the evening was the four-year-old stallion Vargas van de Citadel (Pegase van ’t Ruytershof x Balou du Rouet), who was sold to a dealer and rider in the Netherlands. The four-year-old and highly sought-after mare Rosalina vd Laarseheide (Chaqui Z x Nabab de Rêve) will continue her career in the United States.
International showcase
“Youhorse.auction continues to prove itself as the international showcase for breeders, owners and riders,” Everse explained. “For sellers from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, it offers a unique opportunity to present their horses on a global stage. For international buyers, it’s the perfect way to purchase top-quality horses directly, without intermediaries or commissions. The prices are transparent, the selection is diverse and the bidding process is accessible, making it appealing to a broad audience.”
The Autumn Collection ultimately found new homes in 24 different countries, a remarkable testament to the global reach of Youhorse.auction. The United Kingdom and the United States shared the top spot with twelve purchases each, followed by Italy with eleven. France and Spain secured nine and eight horses respectively, while buyers from Colombia, Cyprus and Morocco also placed successful bids.
Two auctions in December
The year is far from over for Youhorse.auction. In December, no fewer than two auctions are scheduled: the first on Tuesday, December 2, and the Christmas Auction just before the holidays.
The video and selection days on November 10 and 11 are already fully booked, but a few spots remain available on Monday, December 1, and Tuesday, December 2. “Anyone looking to sell an outstanding sport horse before the end of the year can now register via www.youhorse.auction,” Everse concluded.
