International experts discover potential in extra Youhorse.auction

The special April auction of Youhorse.auction, resulting from a unique collaboration with a breeder, once again attracted a broad international audience of buyers on Tuesday, April 21. In this additional edition, the focus was clearly on young horses with developmental potential, which were eagerly acquired by experts from both domestic and international markets.

Organizer Mario Everse said afterward: “We were approached by a passionate breeder who has bred with great dedication for many years and has also strategically invested in interesting bloodlines through auctions. We were entrusted with selecting and presenting this group. We complemented it with twelve horses from other sources, resulting in a fine, diverse collection of three- to six-year-olds, all presented as loose jumpers. Many of these horses are still at the beginning of their training, which makes them particularly attractive to buyers who want to shape and develop them themselves. These are horses with potential, ready for the next step.”

“It was striking that experienced traders and experts were the ones making their moves, as they effortlessly recognized the raw potential within this young collection,” Mario Everse continued. New and returning clients also found their way to this additional edition.

From Europe to overseas
The yearlings Centurio Z and Centurion Z, two full brothers by Chacco Blue out of a 1.60m mare by Cento, attracted significant interest. Centurio Z was sold to Spain, while Centurion Z will continue his career in Switzerland.

The five-year-old Painted Twice (Raichu van het Gravenhof x Cluysenaer v/d Heffinck) is heading to Kuwait, and the same-aged Cogonia (Cote D’Or Z x Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest) will continue in the Czech Republic. Notably, the three-year-old Thika (Liamant W x Balou du Rouet Z) was sold to Saint Pierre and Miquelon. Horses were sold to 17 different countries.

New collection already lined up
There is no slowing down for Youhorse.auction. This coming Saturday, April 25, the next collection will already go online. The video and selection days have been completed and, according to Mario Everse, offer strong prospects.

“We have once again managed to assemble a strong and varied group of horses, this time with more than 40 horses that already have show experience up to 1.45m level. The auction closes on Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6, offering another great opportunity for anyone looking for new talent.”
