He certainly packed the right winning gear: Gerben Morsink won on Friday at the CSI4* in Hohen Wieschendorf on the Baltic Sea as well. In the Grand Prix Qualifier at the DKB Horse Week with 52 starters, the Dutchman and Carsey Z (v. Carthino Z) set a time of 67.61 seconds, which was the benchmark. Markus Renzel came closest to this record time with his Holstein-bred Casall son Canmore and a time of 68.22 seconds. Frenchman Gregory Cottard secured third place with Bibici (v. Norman Pre Noir).
Felix Haßmann also made it into the top four again; this time he saddled Quiwitino WZ (v. Quiwi Dream). Platz five went to Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann with her Cornela (v. Cornet Obolensky), a mare from her own family breeding. Johannes Ehning and C-Jay (v. Carthago) also rode a great round in the Baltic Sea course. The pair was rewarded with sixth place.
