Good news: The Pferd International Munich will still take place in 2027

That's good news: The large event Pferd International Munich with its trade fair, dressage and show jumping competitions is now to take place from May 6 to 9, 2027, despite the original cancellation. The future of Pferd International Munich, Germany's largest outdoor event dedicated to horses, was now the focus of a meeting at the Olympia Equestrian Center in Munich-Riem. Representatives of the shareholders of the Olympia Equestrian Facilities GmbH then sat down with the Blum family and other supporters to discuss the future and prospects of this successful equestrian sports event.

Also present yesterday were representatives of the Bavarian Horse Breeders Association with Tobias Galmbacher, the Bavarian Equestrian Federation with Managing Director Thomas Schreder, the Riding Academy Munich, course director Jacqueline Schmieder, and BAYERN PFERDE Zucht und Sport.

To emphasize the great importance of Pferd International München for the horse in Bavaria, but also for the location itself, all parties agreed to work more closely together for the upcoming event in early May 2027. It is planned to redefine the areas of responsibility and to involve the shareholders operating at the Olympic equestrian facility more closely in organization, procedure, and planning.

The participants thus promise stronger networking, the utilization of multifaceted synergies, and the expansion of the offerings for participants, exhibitors, and visitors. Within the next few weeks, responsibilities will be defined and assigned, so that exhibitors, participants, and visitors can receive concrete information about the proceedings in a timely manner.
