Harm Lahde is in action at the CSIO4*-W in Rabat: After a third place in the main competition on Thursday, Harm Lahde and his GSI Sir Dominator (v. Dominator 2000 Z) took it one step further in the Grand Prix over 1.55m and two rounds on Friday: The two were the first 13 starters to complete the course flawlessly and thus secured a starting place for round two of the top 12. In the second round, the zero was also achieved; the time of 54.71 seconds was enough in the end to secure a strong fifth place. Tom Schewe was also in the race with his Lester (v. Eldorado vd Zeshoek) in round two. After a time error in the first round, it looked like there would be no further contact with the poles until the finish line, but then a fall occurred. Nevertheless, the two still managed to finish eighth.
The victory went to Abdullah Alsharbatly with Diriyah, aka Dubai du Cedre. The rider from Saudi Arabia returned to the course after a suspension. Alsharbatly had recently been suspended for a month by the FEI after two Warning Cards. However, the suspension only applied until the end of September. On Friday, the Saudi rider was the most effective with a time of 50.83 seconds. Second place with a time of 51.65 seconds went to the Frenchman Olivier Perreau with Himalaya du Temple (v. Toulon) ahead of the Swiss Edouard Schmitz with Garmin van’t Naastfeldhof (v. Chacco Chacco).
