Spruce Meadows will make history next month with a total prize money of 5 million dollars in the Rolex Grand Prix. This is the largest daily payout ever in sports.
The prize money for the final day, which is part of the celebrations for Spruce Meadows‚ 50th anniversary, is $2 million higher than last year. With this, the upcoming CPKC ‘International’ presented by Rolex will be another record for Spruce Meadows.
At the Masters Final, it will be revealed whether Martin Fuchs can win the „CPKC International presented by Rolex“ for the third time in a row with Leone Jei. But through his victory at the Rolex Grand Prix in Aachen in July, Martin Fuchs has especially the chance to become the second rider in history to win the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, for which three consecutive victories at the four Rolex Grand Slam Majors CHIO Aachen, Spruce Meadows, Geneva and Dutch Masters in ’s Hertogenbosch are required.
A second consecutive Rolex Grand Slam Major victory would already add an extra bonus of 500,000 euros to his prize money.
