Rene Dittmer and his horse Cody had a good start to the tournament weekend at the Washington International Horse Show: In the CSI5-W jumping over 1.55m, Dittmer and his Holstein-born Casall son secured third place after the jump (37.55 seconds).
Despite not being able to match the time set by the winner Daniel Coyle with Farrel (v. Cardento) of 35.23 seconds, Dittmer still managed to get within a few tenths of a second of him, and Mark Bluman and Landon de Nyze (v. Comilfo Plus Z) also improved on that time with a time of 36.30 seconds, so it was still a good start to the World Cup weekend.
