The Longines FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona is the highlight of the team competitions in jumping this season. Germany qualified for the final from September 29 to October 2 in Spain and will compete in the final as the third team in League 1 Europe. Now the lineup of the other teams is also set.
In this year’s Barcelona edition, Christian Kukuk and Mumbai are going for Germany, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann and Messi van’t Ruytershof, Mario Stevens and Starissa, André Thieme and DSP Chakaria, and Jana Wargers and Limbridge are also competing for Germany.
Four starts, one victory in Sopot, a second place in Hickstead as well as fourth place in Falsterbo and Rotterdam are the current record of the Nations Cup season from a German perspective. Only France with three second places and a victory in Hickstead and the Netherlands with one victory, two second places and one fourth place were better.
In 2020, the Nations Cup final was cancelled due to the pandemic; in 2021, the team of Otto Becker finished sixth.
