At the World Championships in Aachen, Harry Charles caused a stir when he surprisingly jumped onto the podium with LT Holst Freda (v. Colman) and secured the bronze medal in the individual event. Now the Brit has to take an unscheduled break – and cannot ride in any tournaments this year. The 27-year-old announced this on his social media channels.
„After a fall last week in Oliva, I injured my left shoulder quite badly. That means the season is over for me for now – it’s a pretty complex injury that will take some time to heal. I need to stay at home for a while and prepare myself for next year,“ writes Harry Charles.
