The FEI has published the new world ranking list: Richard Vogel continues to lead the world ranking ahead of Kent Farrington. The Irishman Shane Sweetnam has moved up to third place. He ousted the Briton Scott Brash from third place to fourth place. Steve Guerdat also had to give up a place and now resides in fifth place ahead of the Briton Ben Maher. Two places up went the US rider McLain Ward to the new seventh place. Nina Mallevaey moved further up to the top of the ranking from 10th to now eighth place. New to the top ten is also Daniel Blumann on ninth place ahead of Daniel Deusser on tenth place.
Sophie Hinners is also now knocking on the top ten door. After consistent performances and a Grand Prix victory in Vienna this month, she has already moved up to twelfth place. Christian Kukuk improved two positions again and is now in 18th place this month. Christian Ahlmann from the 44 also moved up to the new 42nd position. Just behind him in 45th place is Philipp Weishaupt.
